Supported labs
Sample labs to test

How do I use this page?

The main purpose of this page is to help you generate a medication list or list of labs for your notes/signout. To do so, you will need to copy information from either:
1. Med profile (online MAR link found in upper right of PCIMS/cView)
2. Labs area of PCIMS/cView

Open up either of these areas, highlight the text you want to copy by clicking and dragging with the mouse, and press Ctrl and c to copy the text (since UCLA does not let you right click). Paste your copied information into the text box by pressing Ctrl and v, and click the corresponding button for the function you want to be performed. The "Clean Meds" buttons are intended for medication lists, and "Clean Labs" are intended for lab values.

Additionally, you will find a host of useful links and direct links to forms on the right. They will all open in new windows, so you will not be taken away from the page.

The button functions are:
Clean Meds: cleans up medication lists by improving spacing and capitalization for readability, as well as consolidate date/time information into only dates
Clean Meds (no dates): same function as Clean Meds, but this button generates a medication list without dates
Clean Labs: cleans up laboratory information, listing only Chem 10, CBC, coags, and LFTs
Clean Labs (detailed): cleans up laboratory information, listing all supported labs.
