New in version 0.53: Cultures and antibiotic sensitivities are now supported within "Clean Labs!" This is the initial attempt, so there is a notable restriction--namely, this will only list antibiotic sensitivities for the first organism ("organism 1"). Thirty-seven of the most-commonly screened antibiotics and antifungals are supported. Antibiotics are listed in the same order as Sanford. When both iCa and Ca are available, "Clean Labs" will now only display iCa. When Ca and Albumin values are provided, a corrected calcium will be calculated. The new "H&P" button will help reformat dictations so that numbered lists will be on separate lines, as well as components of review of systems and physical exam. Be aware that this may improperly insert an extra line if you have any other part of your dictation that is this format: "(space)(number)(period)(space)" Urine toxicities are supported.
Previous additions in versions 0.51-0.52: Many new labs are added. There is a new function: "Meds (plain language)." This will translate dictated med lists, our online MAR, and most typed formats from medical jargon into plain language so you no longer need to retype medication instructions into plain language when you give patients medication lists. This is HUGELY useful for discharges from Santa Monica, and much more versatile than the version found in our d/c form.
